It is reported that the US Internet insurance platform Policygenius plans to go public in the near future. The company’s co-founder and CEO Jennifer Fitzgerald said in an interview, “We are moving towards a profitable direction, and we are considering the next step in the capital market, such as the early morning market.”

In January 2020, Policygenius announced the formal completion of a $100 million Series D financing led by KKR. The company’s existing shareholders Norwest Venture Partners, Revolution Ventures, Susa Ventures, AXA Venture Partners, MassMutual Ventures and Transamerica Ventures participated in the investment.

Prior to this, Policygenius had completed US$30 million in Series C financing in 2017, led by NVP (Norwest Venture Partners); received US$15 million in Series B financing in January 2016; received US$5.3 million in Series A financing in June 2015; and In July 2014, it received USD 750,000 in seed round financing.

Since receiving 30 million US dollars in Series C financing in early 2017, Policygenius’s annual revenue has grown to 60 million US dollars by the beginning of 2020, a 10-fold increase.
