Ju Zhenhe and his solar house
There is a returnee professor in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, who has been engaged in solar energy and other clean energy research and production for nearly 20 years. He led the students to build the first-generation solar house. Guests from home and abroad came to the university where he teaches. They must visit this “low-carbon model” Later, he led the student team to build an upgraded version of the fully intelligent solar house, winning two individual championships in the world solar “Olympics” in one fell swoop.
What’s rare is that, of his more than 100 personal patents so far, more than 90% of them have been converted into industries and applied to actual production and life. What’s interesting is that he drove his own modified solar energy vehicle every day for 8 years. A total of 150,000 kilometers have been driven, and only more than 100 yuan of energy costs have been spent, and the rest are all from photovoltaic power supply…
He is Professor Ju Zhenhe, Director of the New Energy Research Center of Shenyang Institute of Technology in Shenbei New District, Shenyang City, and Chief Engineer of Liaoning Solar Energy Research and Application Co., Ltd.
On May 13, the reporter followed the media group to the University Science and Technology Park of Shenyang Institute of Technology and met this professor and his team who are obsessed with “low-carbon” research.
The Sino-European Solar House Joint Research Center is located here.
There is a “magic mirror” in the solar house
The first-generation solar house described above is located by the winding road of Shenyang Institute of Technology. The front of the house is covered with romantic purple flowers. The roof is sloped on all sides, and solar panels are installed on three sides. Ju Zhenhe opened the door of the solar house with a mobile phone remotely, and walked into the house. At first glance, there is nothing unusual about the office space, but after the introduction and demonstration, he knows the “mystery”.
There is a row of hidden “function rooms” on the right side of the house, the first is the “all-in-one” big data system, and the second “function room” is the solar power and energy storage room. There is also a “magic mirror” on the wall. When you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror, the mirror will broadcast the news of the day according to the owner’s needs. When the owner leaves, the mirror will also use the “all-in-one” big data system to use all the things in the house. The equipment can be automatically controlled. Of course, Ju Zhenhe can also use the mobile phone to connect to the Internet to remotely control all the equipment in the house.

“Our house uses natural energy to passively make the hot air coming in in summer go to the ground to cool down for a while before being sent in. Similarly, the cold air in winter first goes to the ground to warm up for a while before being sent in, so the air in this house Temperature is a comfortable temperature for the human body throughout the year.” Ju Zhenhe told reporters.
Dual-dimensional chasing technology to conquer foreign counterparts
Two years ago, Ju Zhenhe, who was obsessed with “solar energy” and other clean energy research, led the student team. On the basis of the first-generation solar house, he upgraded the second-generation solar house with a ratio of 1:1 and participated in the so-called solar house in Shandong. The international solar decathlon competition in the field of “Olympics” competes on the same stage with players from prestigious schools all over the world. The second-generation solar house brought by Ju Zhenhe and the student team won the championships of “Electric Vehicle Commuting” and “Energy Efficiency” in one fell swoop, and ranked among the top ten in terms of comprehensive strength.
This is the dispatching energy storage system in the solar house.
This second-generation solar house has three major highlights, one is a two-dimensional sun tracking system, the other is a big data intelligent all-in-one machine, and the third is a multi-level complementary charging technology.
In general solar houses, the solar panels on the roof cannot store energy because they cannot track the sun on a rainy day. However, the dual-dimensional tracking of the sun cannot track the sun on a rainy day. It can track the light and track the sun’s trajectory.
It is worth mentioning that Ju Zhenhe and his team have established the world’s sun track database, “There is no sun on cloudy days. Our two-dimensional sun tracking system can follow the sun track for fuzzy control. This system It can increase power generation by 52%. This is the only micro-, two-dimensional solar-tracking photovoltaic building integrated system used in buildings in the world.”
It is precisely because of this dual-dimensional tracking technology that a French colleague took the initiative to come to the door and seek cooperation with it.

At present, the Sino-European Solar House Joint Research Center, including China, Sweden, Germany, France, and the Czech Republic, has settled in the New Energy Research Center of Shenyang Institute of Engineering, led by Ju Zhenhe.
Preparing to establish a carbon neutral research institute
Ju Zhenhe, born in 1962, recognized that clean energy will become the hottest industry in the world in the future. So in 2002, he was already a master of international economics at Nankai University. He abandoned the enviable position of Shenyang Electric Power College and went to the European Solar Energy Research Center of Dalarna University in Sweden to study for a master’s degree in solar energy. In 2004, he returned to the school. Transformed into Shenyang Institute of Engineering, he developed a set of solar street lights for the school, which became a famous light on the university campus.
This is the second-generation solar house that won two individual championships.
In order to attract talents and set up a team, he became one of the founders of Liaoning Solar Energy Research and Application Co., Ltd. (a state-owned enterprise) established in 2006 in the form of technology shares. During this period, he led the team to research and produce a number of solar energy technologies and applied them to Liaoning Province. And even many fields at home and abroad. For example, ten years ago, the solar micro-grid technology used in all expressway toll stations in Liaoning, as well as the solar automatic number detection system used in the Shenyang Railway Freight Station.
Two years ago, Ju Zhenhe and his team established their own company, Shenyang Qingneng Institute, with 50 PhDs dispatched by Ju Zhenhe. In the future, many dreams can be realized here.

In addition, led by Ju Zhenhe’s team, it is applying to the school and related departments to establish a carbon neutral research institute.
“For so many years, I want to be carbon neutral, hoping to use R&D technology and industrialization to drive the people of the country to live a low-carbon life.” Ju Zhenhe said.
